Our take
This hotel suits golfers who prioritize city exploration alongside their rounds, particularly those looking to play Bruntsfield Links or other Edinburgh courses. Its central location and basic amenities make it a good fit for a buddies' trip or a couple's getaway where the focus is on golf and sightseeing. Those seeking a full-service golf resort with on-site facilities and direct course access might find it less suitable.
- Book your tee times at Bruntsfield Links well in advance, especially during the peak summer season, to secure your preferred slots.
- Consider using public transport to reach the airport, as it offers a cost-effective alternative to taxis, particularly if you are not in a rush.
- Explore the local dining scene around Grove Street after your rounds; you'll find a variety of options within a short walk from the hotel.
