Alderwood Bed & Breakfast
A near-perfect B&B nine minutes from dinner
Über dieses Hotel
This is the highest-rated stay in the whole corridor, a small bed-and-breakfast with unique artwork in each room and a shared living room that functions as the kind of common space a chain hotel simply does not offer. It sits four minutes' walk from Centre Street, one of the area's main thoroughfares, and nine minutes from Stella restaurant for an evening meal within walking distance of the door. The nineteen-minute run to Logan is among the shortest in the entire cluster, useful for a couple bookending the trip with tight flight times. There is no pool, gym or restaurant on-site, and that absence is the point: this property trades hotel infrastructure for a genuinely personal stay, the kind of base that suits two golfers or a couple more than a full society trying to fill rooms.
- Shared living room
- Private deck
- Unique in-room artwork
- Walk to Centre Street
Unsere Einschätzung
This suits a couple or a pair of golfers who want the area's best-reviewed stay and do not need a pool, gym or on-site restaurant to feel taken care of during a short trip. It is not built for a larger group needing several rooms under one roof or resort-style amenities between rounds.
- Book well ahead of spring and fall golf weekends, since a 9.8 rating and a small room count sell out this property fast.
- Walk to Stella for dinner rather than driving; at nine minutes it is close enough to skip renting a second car.
- Use the shorter nineteen-minute run to Logan to plan a tighter arrival or departure window than most of the cluster allows.
