A Village Bed & Breakfast
A Victorian mansion B&B with a golf tag
About this hotel
Set inside an actual Queen Anne Victorian mansion, this bed-and-breakfast pairs period character with a suite that includes its own kitchenette, useful for a couple wanting to handle a light breakfast on an early tee-time morning without waiting on the main dining room. It carries a specific golf amenity tag, one of the few properties in this corridor to do so, and sits one minute's walk from Lincoln Street and Buttonwood restaurant for an easy dinner without a car. At a 9.8 rating, it matches Alderwood as one of the two best-reviewed stays in the entire cluster. The twenty-five-minute run to Logan sits mid-pack for the corridor. What it does not offer is a pool, gym or restaurant on-site, a fair trade for guests who came here for the mansion setting rather than hotel infrastructure.

Our take
This suits a couple or two golfers drawn to a distinctive, high-scoring Victorian stay with a golf amenity tag and a kitchenette suite, who do not need a pool or gym to round out the trip. It is not built for a group needing multiple rooms or resort-style facilities between rounds.
- Use the suite kitchenette for a light breakfast before an early tee time rather than waiting on a full sit-down meal.
- Walk to Buttonwood for dinner; at one minute from the door it beats arranging a car after a long day of golf.
- Book early given the 9.8 rating and a golf amenity tag that make this one of the corridor's most requested small stays.
