It runs smaller than the larger IHG properties nearby, which gives it a quieter, more boutique-leaning feel while still carrying air conditioning, a fitness centre and a bar restaurant. It's roughly forty-one minutes from Heathrow by taxi. For a group that wants a central base without the scale and noise of a full conference hotel, it's a solid middle ground. It won't suit a full society given the tighter room count, but for a smaller group it offers central Reading without the noise and scale of a full conference hotel down the road.
