Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tacoma South - Lakewood by IHG
An indoor pool and hot tub in the Lakewood corridor
Om det här hotellet
This Holiday Inn Express carries an 8.6 rating from 1,216 reviews, one of the stronger review profiles among the mid-range Lakewood-corridor hotels, backed by an indoor pool and hot tub that genuinely help after Chambers Bay's walking-only routing. Free breakfast, free Wi-Fi and free parking keep the daily costs predictable for a group booking multiple rooms, and a fitness center covers anyone wanting a workout rather than a soak. It sits seven minutes by taxi from Lakewold Gardens and a short walk from The Meltdown, roughly twenty-five minutes from the course by car, placing it firmly in the residential Lakewood side of the South Sound rather than downtown Tacoma. The Kid-friendly and accessible designations round it out as a genuinely flexible group booking.

Vår bedömning
A dependable mid-range choice for a group that wants the pool-and-hot-tub recovery combination without paying Hotel Murano's downtown premium — the 1,216-review track record is reassuring for a group booking sight-unseen. It's a chain hotel through and through, so groups wanting neighborhood character or an evening walk to dinner should consider the Tacoma waterfront options instead.
- Use the hot tub the evening of your round for recovery before an early second tee time.
- Book ahead for summer golf weekends; 1,216 reviews suggest steady demand in this Lakewood corridor.
- Grab a bite at The Meltdown, a four-minute walk, rather than driving after a long day on the course.

Därför älskar gästerna detWe split our stay between two Lakewood hotels on a longer Washington trip, and this one's hot tub won out clearly after the first Chambers Bay round — that back nine walks harder than it looks on the scorecard. Breakfast was reliable both mornings, and with 1,216 reviews behind the 8.6 rating, it felt like a safe, well-tested choice for the group.
