The Sherman Guest Home
A near-perfect, off-the-radar guest home
Om det här hotellet
The Sherman Guest Home carries a perfect rating, though from only a handful of reviews, which makes it more a hidden find than a proven volume choice for a group booking sight unseen. It sits five minutes' walk from Bacon Street and a similar taxi ride from In A Pickle Restaurant, a workable base for a couple or a pair of travelers who value privacy over amenities. There is no pool, gym, restaurant or listed facility on-site, a stripped-down stay that suits someone who wants a genuinely quiet room rather than a hotel built around common spaces. At twenty-nine minutes from Logan, the airport run runs on the longer side of the corridor. Given the very small number of reviews behind that perfect score, this is a property worth a direct check-in with the host before booking rather than treating the rating as statistically settled.
- Private, small-scale setting
- Near Bacon Street
- Near In A Pickle Restaurant
- Perfect guest rating
Vår bedömning
This suits a couple or a pair of travelers who value privacy and do not need hotel amenities, and who are comfortable booking a small, lightly reviewed guest home rather than a proven chain property. It is a weaker fit for a larger group or anyone wanting on-site facilities like a pool or restaurant.
- Confirm exact amenities and check-in details directly with the host before the trip, given the very limited review history.
- Plan dinner at In A Pickle Restaurant, a short taxi ride away, since there is no on-site restaurant here.
- Treat the perfect rating as a promising signal rather than a settled fact, given how few guests it is based on.
