Being three minutes from Reading Museum meant we could walk into town for dinner every night without discussing who was driving. The sauna after a cold March round did more for recovery than we expected, and the pool gave the trip's one non-golfer somewhere better than the room to spend an afternoon. The sauna alone was worth choosing this hotel over a cheaper option further out on the M4 corridor.
