Comfort Inn & Suites Lakewood by JBLM
A Golf tag and a spa in the same Lakewood address
Over dit hotel
Comfort Inn & Suites Lakewood by JBLM is the only property in the Chambers Bay area pairing an on-site spa with its own Golf amenity tag, a specific and genuinely unusual combination for a golf-and-wellness trip. Its 9.2 rating across 338 reviews ranks among the strongest in the area, and free breakfast and free parking keep daily costs predictable for a group booking several rooms. It sits three minutes by taxi from Lakewold Gardens and a minute's walk from OSJ International Restaurant, closest of any property on this list to the Joint Base Lewis-McChord corridor, which shortens the drive to Chambers Bay itself. The fitness center backs up the spa for anyone who prefers a workout to a massage after a round.

Ons oordeel
This is the clear pick for a group or couple that wants to combine golf recovery with an actual spa treatment — the Golf-and-spa pairing is unmatched elsewhere near Chambers Bay, and the 9.2 rating backs it up. Groups wanting downtown Tacoma nightlife rather than a quieter Lakewood evening should consider Hotel Murano instead.
- Book a spa treatment for the evening after your round, when a walking round's worth of fatigue actually needs it.
- Confirm spa appointment availability ahead of a weekend visit — it's a smaller property than the downtown hotels.
- Use the fitness center as a spa alternative if appointments are full during a busy golf weekend.

Waarom gasten het geweldig vindenMy wife and I split our Chambers Bay trip between golf and recovery, and the spa here was exactly the reset the course's hilly back nine demanded after two rounds. The Golf tag on the listing wasn't just marketing either — the staff clearly understood the trip we were on, and the 9.2 rating from over three hundred reviews matched what we experienced.
