Casa Dei Girasoli
Simple, smoke-free stay a taxi from Lovers Beach
About this hotel
This is one of the simplest bases on this list, without a formal star rating and with a short amenity set built around the essentials: a kitchen in some rooms, free Wi-Fi and free parking. That simplicity suits a group that's spending its budget on green fees and doesn't need resort extras to enjoy the trip. The smoke-free policy throughout is worth noting for anyone sensitive to it, and the ten-minute taxi to Lovers Beach opens up a rest-day option beyond the course. It reads as a functional, unfussy stay rather than a destination in itself, which is exactly the point for golfers whose real focus is elsewhere, out on the fairways, not in a lobby or a pool bar.

Our take
This suits a no-frills group that wants a kitchen option and a smoke-free stay without paying for resort extras they won't use. Anyone wanting a pool, spa or beachfront setting should look at one of the larger properties along El Medano Beach instead, at a meaningfully added cost per night.
- Stock the kitchen if your room has one, useful for keeping trip costs down across several days.
- Book the taxi to Lovers Beach for a single rest-day outing rather than a daily trip.
- Confirm the smoke-free policy suits the whole group before booking, since it applies property-wide.

Why guests love itWe wanted somewhere simple that wouldn't distract from the golf, and this delivered exactly that. The kitchen in our room handled a few quiet dinners in. The taxi out to Lovers Beach on our rest day was easy to arrange and a nice change of scenery from the course. It's the kind of detail that only stands out once you're actually staying there, not from the listing photos alone.
